Daniel Smith Watercolor, 5ml Tubes, Essential Mixing Set with 6 Essential Watercolor Tubes, 1oz Watercolor Ground, Mixing Guide, Plastic Case (Total

The Daniel Smith Watercolor 6 Piece Primary Mixing Set is a professional-grade paint set that offers six colors: Hansa Yellow Light, New Gamboge, Quinacridone Rose, Pyrrol Scarlet, Phthalo blue (green shade), and French Ultramarin. The set comes with six paint tubes, a bottle of white paint, a color chart, and a plastic container for holding paints. The tubes are 5ml each, and all colors, except Hansa Yellow Light, score well for lightfastness. The set's granulating color is French Ultramarine. The pigment is rich and vivid, offering excellent texture on grained watercolor paper. The set is easy to mix and allows for a wide range of colors, including greens, violets, browns, oranges, and deep black. The set's colors blend together nicely, and the paints recover well when they dry on the palette. The set is sturdy and practical for urban sketching and plein air painting. Though more expensive than student-grade paint sets, this set offers better results and allows for a unified palette. The Daniel Smith Watercolor 6 Piece Primary Mixing Set is an excellent choice for beginners and professional artists looking for a well-rounded set of watercolors.
