Single-supply opamps are used here -- not the obsolete dual supply opamps that other lab manuals continue to use.You will get experience with a variety of sensors, including CdS photocells, phototransistors, photointerruptors, microphones, temperature sensors, pushbuttons, potentiometers, and load cells. And a variety of output devices are also used, including 3V DC motors, 5V fans, LEDs, piezo transducers, relays, incandescent lamps, and 8Ω speakers.All that is needed to complete these experiments is an inexpensive digital multimeter and just about any low-cost oscilloscope, making a suitable home electronics lab affordable, and at-home completion of these experiments practical for students in hybrid and online electronics courses.
