West System Circular Saw Accessories Editorial Review
The WEST SYSTEM 875 Scarffer has garnered a positive reception among users who appreciate its efficiency in creating perfect scarf joints. Customers have expressed satisfaction with the tool's performance, noting that it significantly reduces the time required to cut joints compared to traditional methods. Many users reported they were able to execute a 4-foot scarf joint in around 30 seconds, enhancing workflow and productivity for various woodworking tasks, including boat building. However, some users have pointed out that the price might be a bit high Considering the simplicity of the design. Additionally, while the tool excels at scarfing thinner materials, users found it less effective on thicker materials, requiring additional tools like a planer to achieve a smooth finish. Setup and adjustments can also be somewhat time-Consuming, so having extra material for test cuts is advisable. Overall, the WEST SYSTEM 875 Scarffer is highly regarded by those who value precision and speed in their woodworking endeavors, especially for projects involving scarf joints. **
