POLAR Heart Rate Monitors 90051049 Editorial Review
**Editorial Review** The Polar heart rate monitor has received a positive reception from customers, particularly for its accuracy and comfortable design. Many users highlight the effectiveness of the heart rate monitoring, appreciating the clear visual feedback with a flashing light that syncs with their pulse, which allows for easy cross-checking of heart rates. The customizable heart rate warning threshold is also praised, providing users with the ability to tailor their monitoring to their individual fitness goals. Comfort is a recurring theme in customer reviews; both the watch component and the chest strap are described as easy to wear, even over extended periods. Users have noted the watch's waterproof capabilities, which adds versatility, although some have not yet tested it in water. A visible and simplified display with large, readable numbers is another attractive feature, ensuring that time and stats can be easily read during workouts. The additional functionality, such as a calorie tracker that indicates exercise intensity, is appreciated, though users mentioned some limitations, like the absence of a stopwatch and needing to activate training mode for heart rate monitoring. Nevertheless, users did report a few shortcomings. The watch's display can be less effective in low-light conditions, which offers a downside for those who want to check the time while running or exercising in darker environments. Moreover, the requirement to switch to training mode for heart monitoring creates a slight delay in accessing real-time heart rate data. Despite these minor drawbacks, many customers express overall satisfaction, particularly those using the monitor for targeted heart rate training. In summary, the Polar heart rate monitor effectively meets the needs of fitness-focused users, particularly those keen on monitoring their heart rate accurately and comfortably during workouts. **
