Sharpie Oil-Based Paint Markers

The SHARPIE Oil-Based Paint Markers are a convenient option for anyone looking for an alternative to traditional brush painting. These markers are especially popular among crafters who like to customize their projects or touch up metal colored pieces in model airplane kits. While they offer a quicker and easier way to apply paint, there are certain limitations to keep in mind. One of the main drawbacks of these markers is that the paint can be runny and sag, making them not the best option for glass surfaces. However, they can be used to personalize wine glasses and other glassware, as long as you don't mind the possibility of smearing or sagging. If you're looking to write on an oil painting or a kettle that is still being used, the markers should work fine, as long as you let the paint dry for a few days before use. It's worth noting that the markers are not microwaveable, so if you're planning to use them on a mug or other microwave-safe item, it's recommended to bake the project instead. When it comes to removing the paint, rubbing alcohol seems to do the trick for ceramics, but it's unclear how effective it is on plastic surfaces like a plastic shaker bottle. In terms of customer reviews, there is a mix of feedback. Some customers find these markers to be excellent and the best option for their needs, while others didn't have the best experience. One common complaint is that the cost is too high for just two markers. Additionally, some users found the coverage to be inConsistent and not smooth, especially when used on already-painted plastic surfaces. Overall, the SHARPIE Oil-Based Paint Markers are a convenient tool for adding detail and customization to various projects. However, they may not be ideal for all surfaces and require some experimentation and patience to achieve desired results.
