Hercules Baritone Sax DS535B Editorial Review
The Hercules DS535B Baritone Saxophone Stand is a sturdy and secure option for holding a Bari sax. It is stable and wide, ensuring that the instrument remains in place. The stand is made from steel, making it durable and long-lasting. It also folds easily, making it convenient to carry to gigs or rehearsals. One standout feature of this stand is its ability to hold an additional instrument with the optional peg. This makes it a versatile option for musicians who play multiple instruments. However, there is a design flaw when it comes to the bottom arm of the stand. It is not lockable and has a spring mechanism that can cause the arm to snap up unexpectedly. This flaw resulted in one customer's $11,000 baritone saxophone being damaged. It is important to ensure that the arm is fully straight before putting the saxophone on the stand to prevent any potential accidents. Overall, the Hercules DS535B Baritone Saxophone Stand is a solid and reliable option for holding a Bari sax. It provides stability and convenience, but users should be cautious of the design flaw with the bottom arm.
