The Croft Enterprises Bucktail Teaser is a product designed to replace treble hooks on small lures, specifically for striped bass fishing. Although the hooks have a large eye and seem to be of good quality, there are several issues with the product. Firstly, some customers have had the bucktail slide down to the hook after the first cast, rendering the product useless. While one customer attempted to fix the issue with glue, they are unsure if it's fully resolved. Secondly, some buyers have reported that the hair on the bucktail falls out easily, making the product age quickly. Additionally, some customers have noted that the split ring shown in the picture was replaced with a solid ring, making it more difficult and costly to attach.
