أسئلة العملاء & الإجابات

  • سؤال: What is the sound profile of the Seymour Duncan SH-11 Custom Custom Humbucker Pickup?

إجابه: The Seymour Duncan SH-11 Custom Custom humbucker is known for its warm, vintage-overdriven tone with a pronounced midrange punch. This pickup excels in genres such as rock and blues, providing a rich harmonic response that enhances your guitar's natural sound. Its design features Alnico II magnets, which contribute to the smooth sustain and articulate higher frequencies. Guitarists often find it particularly useful for solos, as it delivers a full-bodied lead tone.
  • سؤال: Is the Seymour Duncan SH-11 Custom Custom suitable for various music genres?

إجابه: Absolutely! While it is most commonly associated with rock and blues, the SH-11 Custom Custom humbucker is versatile enough to be used across various genres, including jazz, metal, and country. This adaptability stems from its warm tone and balanced EQ response, allowing musicians to effortlessly switch styles. Whether you're strumming chords or engaging in intricate solos, this pickup can handle a variety of musical expressions.
  • سؤال: How does the Seymour Duncan SH-11 Custom Custom compare to other pickups?

إجابه: The SH-11 Custom Custom stands out from many other pickups due to its unique combination of warmth and clarity. Compared to traditional single-coil pickups, it offers a higher output and fewer unwanted noise issues, making it ideal for higher gain scenarios. Many players prefer it over other humbuckers for its dynamic response and ability to handle both clean and distorted tones effectively, making it a popular choice among professional musicians.
  • سؤال: Can I install the Seymour Duncan SH-11 Custom Custom myself?

إجابه: Yes, many guitarists opt to install the SH-11 Custom Custom pickup themselves, especially those who have some experience with guitar modifications. The process involves unscrewing the existing pickups, connecting the wires, and securing the new pickup in place. Detailed instructions and diagrams are often available online, making it accessible for those who feel comfortable with basic soldering. This allows you to customize your guitar's sound to your preference without needing professional help.
  • سؤال: What types of guitars work best with the Seymour Duncan SH-11 Custom Custom?

إجابه: The SH-11 Custom Custom humbucker is particularly suited for guitars with solid bodies, such as Les Pauls and certain models of Fender Stratocasters. Its robust tonal qualities complement the dense wood used in these guitars, enhancing sustain and definition. While it can also be installed in hollow or semi-hollow body guitars, it shines best in solid body configurations, allowing guitarists to push their volume and gain without sacrificing tonal clarity.
  • سؤال: What does the 'black' color option signify in the Seymour Duncan SH-11 Custom Custom?

إجابه: 'Black' refers to the finish of the pickup, which gives it a sleek and classic look that pairs well with most guitar finishes. Besides aesthetics, the black bobbins help with light absorption during stage performances, making them less reflective. This can be an important feature for players who are conscious about stage presence and visual appeal. Moreover, having a uniform color can contribute to the overall look of a custom-built or modified guitar.
  • سؤال: What is the output level of the Seymour Duncan SH-11 Custom Custom?

إجابه: The output level of the SH-11 Custom Custom is classified as high, making it suitable for various playing styles, including powerful lead work and aggressive rhythms. This high output not only allows for a robust overdriven sound but also helps in preserving clarity even when playing with high-gain amplifiers. This attribute is especially useful for rock guitarists who demand a strong tone that cuts through the mix during live performances.
  • سؤال: Does the Seymour Duncan SH-11 Custom Custom require any special care?

إجابه: While the SH-11 Custom Custom humbucker is designed for durability, some routine maintenance can enhance its longevity. It's recommended to regularly check the mounting screws for tightness and inspect the wiring for any signs of wear or fraying. Additionally, keeping your guitar clean and free from debris can prevent any unwanted noise and maintain sound clarity. By nurturing your pickup, you can ensure it provides optimal performance for years to come.
  • سؤال: What type of wiring does the Seymour Duncan SH-11 Custom Custom use?

إجابه: The SH-11 Custom Custom comes equipped with a 4-conductor wiring system, allowing for versatile wiring options and coil-splitting capabilities. This means you can easily switch between humbucker and single-coil tones, offering a wide array of sonic possibilities. This flexibility is particularly beneficial for guitarists who wish to customize their sound further, depending on the gig or recording session. Using this wiring, you can achieve a broader tonal palette.

Seymour Duncan Pickups & Pickup Covers STB-11 WH Editorial Review

The Seymour Duncan SH-11 Custom Custom Pickup receives mostly positive reviews and feedback from customers. It has a perfect balance of tone and warmth, with good bottom end and mid-range. The pickup is ideal for those looking for that classic rock sound. It is a passive pickup and does not require a battery. The pickup fits well in Les Paul and semi-hollow guitars, and is relatively easy to install by soldering. However, the pickup is not an F-spaced pick-up. Many users recommend the SH-11 over the more expensive EVH Frankenstein pickup, as it has a similar sound but is less expensive. The SH-11 is not as loud as the EVH Frankenstein pickup, but is still loud and dirty, and delivers great-sounding pinch harmonics. Users recommend the pickup for anyone who likes 70s-80s classic tones. Key points to note are:
