NOW Sports, Certified Organic Pea Protein 14g, Unflavored Powder, 1.5 lbs

NOW Foods Sports Nutrition Certified Organic Pea Protein is generally viewed positively by nutritionists, especially for those seeking plant-based protein sources. With 15 grams of protein per serving, it is an excellent option for vegans, vegetarians, and individuals with lactose intolerance. The organic certification indicates high-quality ingredient sourcing, which is beneficial for minimizing pesticide exposure. However, some consumers might find the unflavored powder less versatile in terms of taste and mixing options. Additionally, while pea protein is a good source of essential amino acids, it is low in methionine compared to animal proteins. This means it’s important for users to combine it with other protein sources to ensure a complete amino acid profile. Overall, this product supports muscle recovery and growth when integrated into a balanced diet, making it a healthy choice for active individuals and those with specific dietary needs.
