How does the Schonstedt Rex work?

The Schonstedt Rex operates by transmitting radio frequency signals to locate buried utilities. It consists of a transmitter that sends signals through conductive and non-conductive materials and a receiver that picks up these signals, allowing users to pinpoint the location of utilities. For example, in a construction site, a contractor can use this locator to confirm cable placements before digging, avoiding costly disruptions.

Can I use the Schonstedt Rex to locate non-metallic pipes?

By utilizing the appropriate settings, users can detect variations in the soil caused by these materials, making it ideal for plumbing and drainage investigations. This feature is particularly useful for plumbers and civil engineers who need to manage complex utility systems.
