Drama Editorial Review
The Snoop Sisters: The Complete Series features Ernesta and Gwendolyn Snoop, two clever, elderly sisters living in NYC, getting into hilarious predicaments as they solve mysteries with their sharp observation and wit. Their interpersonal dynamic is charming and showcases their strong bond, often correcting one another in supportive ways. As a famed mystery writer, Ernesta provides a delightful backdrop for comedic narratives, while the characters, played by Helen Hayes and Mildred Natwick, exude a joyful, old-school performance style lacking in distractions. While some viewers noted the absence of subtitles, many appreciated the clarity and delivery of the dialogue, proving that this classic series offers light and intelligent entertainment through its subtly witty plots and memorable guest stars, making it a nostalgic treat for fans of vintage television.
