Harken Classic Blocks are a popular choice in the industry, favoured by many experienced sailors. These blocks are available in various sizes and colours to suit different needs. The 29mm carbo block can accommodate a maximum line size of 5/16", while the Harken 1546 triple block is suitable for lines up to 9/16" or 14mm. The 57mm sheave cheek block, on the other hand, has a maximum line size of 7/16". Harken Part Number 166 refers to the 29mm block. These blocks are commonly used with polyester single or double braid lines. Based on reviews, customers are generally satisfied with their purchase of Harken Classic Blocks. Some reviewers have pointed out that this product is from the Midrange Classic series, and not the High Load block, which can handle much higher loads and larger line sizes.
