Yanni Format: Audio CD Electronic 1983714 Editorial Review
**** The "Ultimate Yanni" collection has resonated profoundly with fans of the celebrated composer and musician. Many reviewers have highlighted the soothing qualities of his music, which has been a source of comfort during stressful moments or illness. Yanni's ability to create beautiful and inspiring melodies stands out, with listeners often recommending his work to others, including children and grandchildren, underscoring the generational appeal of his music. The two-disc set features a compilation of tracks from his past albums, which has allowed both longtime fans and newcomers to appreciate the breadth of Yanni's artistry. Most reviewers noted that the instrumental compositions were particularly favored, with "Reflections of Passion" being mentioned as a standout track. This comprehensive collection has proven effective in introducing a wider audience to his music, with many claiming to have discovered new favorite songs among the 26 tracks presented. That said, not every track resonated with every listener, particularly those drawn from the "Live at the Acropolis" album, which some felt lacked the dynamism found in studio recordings. However, this criticism does not overshadow the overall satisfaction expressed by the majority of reviewers, who view the "Ultimate Yanni" set as a worthwhile investment in melodic satisfaction. **
